July/August Theater 12th Annual New Works Festival – Presented by Phoenix Theatre, 100 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix. The festival will run from July 10-August 1 and will feature staged readings of new plays. Witness new works in the making as playwrights, both seasoned and new, stage public readings of new scripts performed by professional actors. An audience discussion follows each performance. Tickets: $10.00 per reading or four-performance package for $36.00. Purchase your own ticket(s) by calling the Box Office, (602) 254-2151. Various SFA Theater Committee members will host a pre-show dinner for 7:30 PM on Saturday, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, and 8/1 (dinner at about 5:00 p.m.). See individual dates in this Newsletter.
